Lest we forget is the phrase that captures our unwavering commitment to honour the memory of the over 100,000 Australians who have given their lives in war.

We also recognise the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served in peacekeeping, and humanitarian operations.

Our commemoration and remembrance efforts are visible in the following ways:

• ANZAC Day commemorative services in Dutton Park, Tarragindi and Tennyson.

• Flame of Remembrance displayed and constantly illuminated inside Club Yeronga.

• A Veteran’s Walk along Kadumba Street, commemorating each Australian military conflict since Federation.

• When requested by families, the conduct of traditional RSL poppy services at the funerals of veterans.
